If someone sins, Yeshua has instructed us to rebuke that person. If that person repents, we are to forgive him or her. As often as the one who sins repents, we are required to forgive.
To Repent:
v If one sin against another, that one should
confess that he or she has committed a wrongful act.
v If one sin against another, he or she
should feel true remorse for the wrongful thing that was done.
v If one sin against another, he or she should
labor to repair the damage that was done.
v If one sin against another, he or she
should make every effort to not repeat the wrong again.
Our God is a righteous God. We are required to walk in
His righteous ways. We are required to repent when we fall into sin. When we repent, He is faithful to forgive us.
This is the message of the Kingdom of God:
It is written that God is angry
with the wicked every day. The wicked
will have no place in God’s soon coming Kingdom. They will be held in a place of weeping and
gnashing of teeth!

Luke 24:45-47
Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)
45 Then he (Yeshua) opened their minds, so that they could understand the Tanakh, 46 telling them, “Here is what it says: the Messiah is to suffer and to rise from the dead on the third day; 47 and in his name repentance leading to forgiveness of sins is to be proclaimed to people from all nations, starting with Yerushalayim.
Some people try to twist this precept and make it
backwards. Instead of asking the wicked
to repent so that they may obtain forgiveness, they are insisting that the
righteous forgive the wicked without requiring their repentance!
Be sure to watch the video below to listen to the song 'Search Me' from Psalm 139. I think you'll like it.
