Yom Kippur is past (Saturday, October 8) and Sukkot is before us (Thursday, October 13). I am so grateful to Adonai for giving us a day, the Day of Atonement, to cleanse us from all our sins. In His love and mercy He has provided for us a covering for our sins. That covering is the blood of His only Son, Yeshua, Who, like Isaac, was offered up as a sacrifice. And Who, unlike Isaac, was slain to take away our sins. Glory be to our God who loved us so! And glory be to His Son who laid down His life for us.

Blessings and honor a due to our Messiah Yeshua who came to do His Father’s will. He was faithful to do all that His Father asked Him to do.
During Sukkot, a sukkah is erected to remember how the children of Israel lived in huts when Adonai tabernacled with them wilderness for 40 years. During that time Adonai provided for them and protected them. They didn’t plant seeds but were fed manna from heaven. Their shoes and clothing did not become old or worn out. It is a time to remember that Adonai is able to provide for all of our needs. We need not look to another. We only need to follow His commandments and remain faithful to His covenant, which we, who are gentile believers, have been grafted into through Yeshua, our Messiah.
May the blessing of Adonai be upon you.
